You will be receiving your ballot in the mail. If you have already registered, you have been mailed a Vote by Mail Address Confirmation Notice with voting information.
You can track your ballot by subscribing to Where's My Ballot, a free service available to all registered voters that gives you updated information on where your ballot is and when you will receive it.
If you have recently moved, you can update your address by filling out the address confirmation notice and mailing it.
*ballot must be postmarked by Nov 3 and received within 17 days.
There are multiple options for returning your ballot:
By mail, no postage necessary.
It's recommended to mail your ballot early, allowing 2 weeks (by October 20) for your ballot to arrive by Nov. 3, however mail-in ballots are accepted up to 17 days after Election Day as long as they are postmarked by Nov. 3.
Deadline to verify your identity and process your ballot:
28 days after Nov 3.
If the signature on your Vote by Mail return envelope doesn't match what is in the voter registration database, you will be notified by mail and asked to complete and return the Signature Verification Statement.
If you returned your Vote by Mail ballot without signing the return envelope, you will be mailed a document called the Unsigned Ballot Statement asking for your signature. You have up to 28 days after Election Day to return the statement for your ballot to be processed.
